Modeling headshots can be done in natural light or inside using studio strobes. Most agencies are looking to see you in the most natural way possible. This means very light makeup and natural hair. Typically when submitting to agencies you will need to provide a combination of straight on headshots, a profile picture and full body images. For acting headshots agencies are looking for more personality to come through in the images and to focus more on the expression of the subject. When we work together I will provide a lot of direction on how to move in ways that look and feel more natural and less posed. Headshots should be updated frequently, as this is essentially your business card for bookings. Kids headshots should be updated every year or so, for adults every couple of years.
